The Grand Opening of The Lofts at City Center was celebrated on September 23, 2020 and well attended by friends, family and business associates.
Hal Shapiro, owner and principal of the development company, REAL Property Group hosted an open house reception on the Terrace at the property. Lenexa-based Saints Pub & Patio provided the delicious boxed meals for the event and Sports Radio 810 broadcasted live.
During the event, I conducted several tours, showing guests my originals and prints that are installed throughout the building.
Dramatically featured over the entrance are two 40-foot tall banners, which I designed in conjunction with Luminous Neon Art & Sign company, using my art as the background for The Lofts logo. Is it possible that I now may claim to have the largest art in Lenexa?
In the photo at the right, my husband, Hamilton and I are pictured at the entrance, below the super-sized banners.
I would like to thank my family, friends and former work team from Empower Retirement as well as the representative from Custom Color responsible for the gorgeous art prints, for making the extra effort to attend the Grand Opening open house to celebrate with me.
I would also like to give a shout out to
Joyce's Flowers fabulous florist, Sarah, who created two beautiful arrangements in art glass globes produced by Dierk Van Keppel of Rock Cottage Glassworks. Plus, a hat tip to Hamilton Kirkland, who inspired the lighting inside the globes, providing extra sizzle to the arrangements.
And of course, congratulations to Hal and his amazing team, on the opening of this beautiful building! I am truly grateful and honored to be a part of this exciting project.
